Smiling generally feels very good. It’s an expression you use without any hesitation every time you have a reason to express happiness. However, there can be times when you need to think twice before you open your mouth – such as when you have less-than-white teeth.

Having yellow or brown teeth can definitely leave one feeling self-conscious. It can lead you to stifle your smile every time you have to express one. Before you start worrying, though, there is some good news. There are a few easy ways through which you can make whiten your teeth fast and naturally. Let’s have a look.

1. Hydrogen Peroxide

This is the primary ingredient in most teeth whiteners. Hydrogen Peroxide whitens your teeth by forming bubbles on your enamel. The bubbles clear stains off of the enamel. Resultantly, washing teeth on a routine basis with hydrogen peroxide makes them whiter.

Keep in mind that the longer you leave hydrogen peroxide on your teeth, the whiter they will become. However, you should refrain from using considerably high concentrations since they can result in tooth sensitivity.

You can also add some baking soda to the hydrogen peroxide and create a paste. Of course, you should first make sure that you have more peroxide in this mixture, which will disable the gritty soda from scrubbing the enamel off of your teeth.

2. Orange or Lemon Peels

This is also an effective (yet little known) method of whitening your teeth. All you require doing is rubbing the orange or lemon peels on your teeth. After that, you should leave your mouth as is for a while and then rinse. The taste will definitely be annoying to bear, but as they so, no pain, no gain!

Leaving the peel extracts on your teeth for too long might eventually wear the enamel on your teeth due to the high acid content of the peels. So, rinse after a few minutes.

3. Strawberries

Strawberries are also known for whitening discolored teeth. As such, you should try to eat them more often. Apart from simply eating, you should also consider rubbing them on your teeth. If you do this on a regular basis, it will assist you in getting your teeth whitened.

4. ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar)

ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) is significantly effective for the removal of stubborn stains on your teeth, including the ones caused by nicotine and coffee. For ACV to properly work, however, you need to keep using it for at least a month or two. The best thing about ACV is that it can make your teeth look as if they are cleaned professionally.
